Pilates in Pregnancy

Tuesdays at 12:00pm (45 minutes)

Pilates in Pregnancy will teach you how to use the Swiss ball for support during labour and post-pregnancy and can  address the following:

  • Coping with the changes your body is undergoing during pregnancy
  • Problems related to sciatica and lower back ache resulting from the weight of your baby
  • Exploring Optimal Foetal Positioning as the birth of your baby draws nearer
  • Providing useful exercises for labour and post pregnancy
  • Social support from other pregnant women

Please note: When booking for Pregnancy Pilates it is imperative that you email Angela or text her on 07956 387 063 to discuss it first. If you are new to Pilates you need to be more than 12 weeks pregnant to participate. Classes are £12 each, paid monthly in advance with no drop-in facility. The aim is to create a supportive environment in each session offering useful ideas for labour and post pregnancy.

Angela has trained with the Pilates Foundation specialising in pregnancy, with Rachel Swindle who is a National Childbirth Trust teacher. She is registered with the Guild of pre and post natal Exercise Teachers.
